Magic Wand & Vibrating Wand Massagers

What is a Vibrating Wand?

Vibrating wands consist of a motor and bulbous head that’s pressed against the body. Credited with producing some of the most powerful vibrations of any sex toy, they weren’t originally intended for masturbation. The Hitachi Magic Wand debuted in the 1960s as a traditional muscle massager. It gained popularity as a sex toy and spawned a new category of vibrators. Many massage wands plug directly into a wall outlet, ensuring a ready supply of electricity so you never need to re-charge or replace batteries mid-play.

How to Use a Wand Vibrator

Wand vibrators have a flexible neck that allows the head to move with the contours of your body, hitting the right spots each time. Commonly used to stimulate the clitoris, the size of the head usually limits penetration. You can control how strong the sensations are with varying vibration modes and different speed settings. Corded models aren’t limited by battery capacity and can provide high-intensity vibrations unlike anything you’ve felt before.

While often thought of as a sex toy for women, wand massagers can be used on the penis for male masturbation. There are even wand attachments that place a love tunnel on top so it vibrates around his shaft.
