The 2010 F.A.M.E. Awards Are Underway!
Fifth Annual F.A.M.E. Awards Show set for Saturday, July 10th at the LA Convention Center as part of the first-ever EXXXOTICA Los Angeles Expo
(LOS ANGELES, CA) ? Mark your calendars for the fifth annual F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment) Awards Show. Adult movie fans can now vote on their favorites at http://www.thefameawards.com/, and the winners will be announced as part of a star-studded event on July 10, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center as part of the West Coast debut of the EXXXOTICA Expo.
The first round of voting where fans will select the finalists in each category is now open on the F.A.M.E. website, http://www.thefameawards.com/, In approximately two weeks, the field will be narrowed down to the finalists in each category and the final round of voting will commence. Well over 100,000 votes were cast for last year?s contest, and this year should be no different as this is one of adult?s annual events that both the stars and the fans look forward to.
The actual awards ceremony has a new home this year as it will be part of the L.A. debut of the EXXXOTICA Expo, which runs at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 9th through the 11th. EXXXOTICA is an established adult consumer event that has enjoyed five successful years in Miami Beach and also a pair of headline-making shows in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area. Fans will get to see the 2010 F.A.M.E. Awards free with their admission to EXXXOTICA on the Expo?s main entertainment stage. Hosts for the show will be announced in the coming weeks.
The F.A.M.E. Awards were created in 2006 by Genesis Magazine (http://www.genesismagazine.com/), Adam & Eve (http://www.adameve.com/), WantedList.com and AVN.com as a way for fans to honor their favorite adult film stars, directors, movies and companies. It is the first show where the fans take part in the entire process ?from choosing the finalists to ultimately selecting the winners in over a dozen categories.
