Valentine’s Day Disasters
Whatever happens when Valentine’s Day rolls around, remember that things could always be worse. And here are a few disaster stories to prove it!
I made him a basket of homemade cookies and fudge, cooked him romantic meal, and wrote him a poem about how much I love him. He tried to give me a spare dollar from his pocket and told me I could have the basket when he’s done with it. I told him exactly where he could stick the basket.
I got a bunch of flowers from a secret admirer. My boyfriend got jealous and “post-poned” our date that night because he had to work. I went out for dinner with a cousin, and saw my soon-to-be ex stroll into the restaurant with his arm around another woman.
My hubby and I checked into a local hotel for a romantic night together. The room was super nice, decked out with chilled champagne, candles, flowers, and the whole treatment. While we were enjoying the Jacuzzi, someone started knocking on the door. It turns out another couple had the same room, and they were the ones who decorated it!
Oysters and food poisoning. Need I say more?
