Hillsborough, NC — PHE Inc has long had a reputation of being a good neighbor. In keeping with that tradition, PHE and its employees donated more than $2600 to Orange Congregations in Mission (OCIM) in 2012.
The OCIM is a private, non-profit organization committed to assisting families and individuals in need of basic necessities in northern Orange County. OCIM serves the community through programs such as the Samaritan Relief Ministry, Meals On Wheels, and the OCIM Thrift Shop. In addition to the donation from the company, PHE employees assist OCIM throughout the year with delivering food for the Meals On Wheels program and collecting food for the food pantry.
Executive Director of OCIM, Reverend Sharon Freeland, says, “Orange Congregations In Mission is very grateful to PHE for its donation. You all continue to bless us with your gifts.” PHE employee of 5 years, Kristina McCartney says, “I am so happy that an organization like OCIM exists in our community and I really enjoy delivering food for the Meals on Wheels program."
