• What would you like our customers to know about you and your job?

A generation ago when people thought of the term “Customer Service” the actual words meant the customer was getting service. Over the years for many companies, “Customer Service” turned into a department instead of a special service. I try very hard to make sure that no matter how small the issue, our Customers get the “service” part of these words. We don’t want to just be a department.

• What is the best thing about working for PHE?

There’s not just one thing that stands out in my mind. I love the people I work with, the company is so good to all the employees, the products are fun & our customers are interesting.

• What is the most interesting part of your job?

Well…honestly…I like reading comments customers make on the products. Some are hilarious.

• What is one of your favorite job experiences during your employment at PHE?

The first year of my employment, I received a phone call from an elderly widower. She told me there was only one man she had ever loved. He was her best friend, her lover & her husband. Unfortunately he had recently passed away. She said sweetly “I don’t want another man to replace him; I felt very complete being loved by this man. However a woman needs something.” She didn’t know what to purchase, so I went over the items and sent her a package. She sent a Thank you note back to us. I realized then, that we are the reason some people can find extra joy in their lives.
