The metal these are made out of is sturdy and is not going to bend when in use. The only complaint I have is that before I had even opened the package I could tell the paint was chipping. I have the red ones so I can only assume the other colors will do the same.
If you want harsher restraints than this is you you! They seem well made and I like the bare metal. I can really dig in for extra fun. It can leave marks if you aren't careful but I don't mind.

I would have given it a five star but the cuffs are a tad small. Not really designed for a larger males hands, which was my intended use on my boyfriend. He loves using them on me though and they work well.
