This product comes with a leather-esque collar that's somewhat stiff but pliable enough to thread through the buckles by yourself if you have no one else to put it on you. The collar is adjustable in size and can fit loosely or tightly depending on what's desired, and it can get quite small in circumference. When tightening the collar, know there are pieces you'll have to thread over/under one ano...ther (as such, the ends of either side of the collar actually have two pieces of leather, one that can be tucked between the opposing end to create a flush fit against the neck). The collar itself is roughly a couple inches in width, stiff enough to not allow the neck to crane much and provide some restraint, and non-abrasive against the skin. I think it's well-made. The clamps are adjustable as well. The chains seem decently long enough for most women to wear comfortably without too much strain. The clamps themselves are good quality, and you can adjust the tightness by twisting the knobs on the side. It would be wise if you're not familiar with this type of clamp to actually twist the knobs and loosen the clamps for initial play until you're certain you can handle the sensation. As for overall packaging, it comes in a basic cardboard box with clear images of the product on the outside.
