ADAMANDEVE.COM ASKS: WHAT IF YOUR SEXTS WENT PUBLIC?

Hillsborough, NC — Adamandeve.com, America’s most trusted source for adult products, is curious about sexting. This month, the company asked over 1,000 men and women if they would be concerned if their sexts went public — and the answer is an overwhelming “yes!”

While 6% of Americans admit to sharing their partners sexts (sending sexually explicit photographs or messages via cell phone) with friends, nearly 85% said they would be concerned if their sexts went viral.

“Sexting can be a healthy, fun part of a relationship,” says Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for adamandeve.com. “Sexts can be a part of foreplay or a substitute for intimacy until partners can physically be together. Unless your partner gives permission, sharing sexts is a major violation of trust.”

“Adam & Eve encourages individuals and couples to enjoy their sexuality within their own comfort zones,” says adamandeve.com Director of Marketing Chad Davis. “For adults either uncomfortable with or looking to enhance sexting, adamandeve.com carries a wide variety of products to liven up any stage relationship.”

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. "Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" can be found on podcasts through iTunes or http://www.drkat.com. Her new book, “The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life,” can be found on Amazon.com.
