I have a 35 inch waist and a stocky build because I work out. I bought a size large. It comes about half way up my rear and stops. These are made for tiny humans. The guy in the picture must be wearing 2XL because I'm smaller than him and I know an XL won't make it either. My pair are now in the garbage can.
