The tape is not sticky at all, so it doesnt stick to any hair,skin,etc. It only sticks to itself so you have to make sure the tape touches itself to insure it will stay on. SO if you wanted to tape someones mouth closed you would have to bring the tape around there head. The tape can be reused but it depends on how neatly you tape someone up. Was actually looking for silky/satin ties in the 6'-8' length that nobody seems to carry So I ordered a pair of these instead. The tape can be difficult to work with due to its affinity to tangle and bind with itself. Seems ideal for "mummification" type bindings; but neither of us is into that. Not ideal for shibari style bindings where there are turns. The other difficulty is that if allowed... to fall back onto the roll or to itself it can be difficult to find the end. I have been cutting off suitable short lengths (2-6 cubits) and finishing the ends with cloth tape to create courtesy tabs to enable quick release. The product shows promise if I can work out the technical issues. I do strongly urge anyone trying it to have ALWAYS to hand a pair of safety scissors. It is easier than falling off a bicycle to find yourself in a situation where you have to cut your partner free. The rounded end lower jaw is critical.
