I have not used this during head yet, however, I did test it to see if it was tolerable. it is minty and does numb. for more numbing feeling, maybe one or two more squirts to the throat

got it to try with my boyfriend first use it numbed my whole mouth and throat...catch it lasted for like a minute. doesnt work for what its intended for deep throating isnt a quick task.
