Hillsborough, NC - Adam & Eve, the leader in adult products, has long been known for its charitable giving to the community. One of its annual fundraisers in-house is an auction of the company department heads (employees can bid on the managers for four hours of their time to do chores, etc). Adam & Eve is very passionate about cancer research support, and this year’s “Manager Auction” was to raise funds for the local organization, Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation (CHBCF).
“Cancer is one of the most important causes out there to support, so we try to do as much as we can to help,” says Chad Davis, Director of Marketing for Adam & Eve (and one of the auctionees). “Cancer research is getting further along each and every day, and if our contributions can help find a cure that much faster, the world, and our local community, will be a better place!”
Adam & Eve has about a dozen managers of company departments who were auctioned. Each person was won for an average of more than $100 to a lucky employee, which was then matched by the company. In addition, several loose donations were given too, making the total raised very impressive.
The auction fundraiser event raised almost $5,400, to be given to CHBCF for their efforts to “Save the Ta-tas!”
