||Hillsborough, NC – Adam & Eve and www.AdamEve.com are pleased to announce that 2011 was another year of giving.
With a focus on local charities and fundraising, the adult retailing giant contributed monetary donations, time and supplies to a number of organizations in six counties in North Carolina.
Along with money raised for the Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation in Orange County, Triad Health’s walk for AIDS in Guilford County, and the Jimmy V Foundation in Wake County, Adam & Eve gave money and donated supplies to local animal conservator centers, senior centers, schools, departments of social services, community art councils, museums, and churches.
In addition to these organizations, Adam & Eve employees participated in Orange County Meals On Wheels, the adopt-a-highway program, and multiple blood drives. As in years’ past, employees also donated time and goods to the Thanksgiving food drive and Christmas Angel Tree program, sponsored by Orange County Social Services.
“Adam & Eve makes every effort to be a good player in our industry,” says Tony Madejczyk, an Adam & Eve employee for 19 years. “It’s also nice to see the positive effects we have on the communities around us.”
Gregory Booker, a nine-year employee with the company agrees. “I’m really proud to work for a company that focuses so much on volunteering and charitable giving in the local area.”
