PHE, Inc., the parent company of Adam & Eve, and Orange County Chamber of Commerce "Business of the Year," received the Platinum Level Award for this year's South Atlantic Division/Orange County "Relay for Life."
Rewarded as the top contributor for 2006, PHE, Inc. donated a total of $15,316.15 to this worthy cause, which raises money for the American Cancer Society. Employees raised money through individual donations and company events, and PHE, Inc. matched donations in kind.
PHE. Inc. employee Dawn Berry, who heads up the company's "Relay for Life" involvement, says, "I am so thankful for the help and support I received this year from of all of my co-workers and fellow teammates. We all worked so hard this year for this wonderful cause and it shows in the total... I cannot wait to see what we can do next year."
In addition to receiving the Platinum Level Award, PHE, Inc. also received an "Extra Effort Award" for showing such extraordinary support for this event.
