This is a cult classic vibrator that everyone just raves about. I had looked forward to buying for months and finally when one of my favorite vibes started to peter out I decided it was time to order it. It is really heavy (1.2 pounds) and has a decidedly short cord (which could be easily fixed with an extension cord. I could easily ignore these things if i had liked the vibration. For me, I love strong vibrations, which the Hitachi really does have. What it lacked was a proper frequency for me. It was very topical and buzzy that became irritating very quickly, not a good deep rumbly vibration I have come to expect from good vibes. For me the frequency is just as important as the strength so I was highly disappointed in this vibe. That being said, I know MANY women that love their Hitachi Wands so if you are looking for power this might be a good place to try, but if you like deep rumbly vibrations then this is not the vibe for you.

It is absolutly powerful. You must get used to it on low first. I start with a blanket over my privates then remove them. When I want to explode with pleasure I turn it on high and explode. It is stronger and quieter than the A&E version. If you haven't yet tried one of these, you're totally missing out on some fun. This is quite the powerful vibe, so amateurs beware! Yeah, this vibe is rather awesome but it is a little intense so I would recommend folding a washcloth over twice to put between you and the vibe. I especially like it once I'm already worked up because then the vibe is just that more intense. This item is also really good for its intended use too: as a massager. I can't wait to get the Gee Whizz and Gee Whizzard attachments (not sold on Adam & Eve)!
My only complaint is the price, really.

I got this for my wife for those times when her regular vibes just aren't enough, with this thing she orgasms almost everytime. Its a bit louder than I wish it was and distracting to her sometimes, so that earns it the 1 star mark down. Also is good for regular massages too.

The vibe is the strongest EVER, and while it is a little loud, it's for a reason!! Very, very powerful, two settings (strong and SUPER strong), and it's nice that it also doubles as a back massager. A little weary at first that it plugged into the wall, but we just received it today and us as a couple have been pleasantly surprised thus far--had multiples within 10 minutes! So we are VERY satisfied customers! Definitely would recommend, as long as you like powerful vibes!

. I was kind of scared to use it because it was so huge and really loud. It did feel pretty good for about a minute, but then the vibrations were just too intense, or the head was just too big, and it felt itchy. I tried it again a bit later, but the same thing. Good thing I can return it. I know I am in the minority, but it was just not enjoyable at all.

I got this, because of all the glowing reviews, along with one of the attachments (that was supposed to reduce the intensity of the vibration). Tried it last night, and here are the reasons it went to the Goodwill:
1. Way to strong on the vibration! Nothing subtle about it.
2. Loud! not really a mood setter, more of a mood breaker
