I was a little concerned because of some of the reviews about the battery cap, but I had no trouble getting it off, on or having the cap stay on. The texture is nice and the vibration was good. The toy cleans easily and does not have a foul smell. It is soft enough for extended play. We are very happy with our purchase which is now our 3rd toy.
