These worked as designed although getting them to work under the door was a little more troublesome. If your wife is short they might not be long enough, my wife at 5'3" had her arms almost straight up.

The only negative I can say is wish it included another pair for the feet to be tied down as well. Very compact and have taken it on trips to use in hotel rooms.

I expected this product to be a novelty item. The first time we used them was as a joke. I put them on outside her bathroom so that I couldn't touch her as she showed me her new lingerie.
