This is great for a first timer. The jelly is soft enough to be really comfortable, but rigid enough to feel great. it did have a weird smell when I first took it out of the package, but the smell went away.

We got this for our first anal toy. It is a nice size for starting out, the segments feel awesome each time they slip inside. We have also used it for vaginal play, I love the ribbed feel of it. Only down side, it has that awful jelly material smell like so many others. And if you get poo on it, its really messy to clean out of the ridges.
