The run time is average (243 minutes), but the cool part is really the number of scenes. Most 4-hour comps cram in about 20 scenes – cutting a lot of the action out to cram them into the run time so you miss some of the best parts. With only 13 scenes, Cherry Pies features much-longer scenes with time to set the mood instead of the typical wham-bam-pop. Even more impressive is the large amount of bonus material – something that usually gets skipped over while putting together a comp. You’ll get just under an hour of extras including a bonus scene (raising the total number of scenes to 14) as well as a large photo gallery and multiple trailers.
