We were a little disappointed. We were hoping for more information on selecting sex toys as a couple. Nina Hartley is an amazing actress and full of information, We were just hoping she would have shared a little more with us.

Fun
DVD gives you good advise on how to use sex toys. There were good examples given by demostration from the couples. Recommend viewing before going out to buy them.

Learned a Lot
Wish we had videos like this many years ago. We have been married for almost 49 years and have seen some of the toys but did not understand just how to use them. More time could have been spent on how to us them amd on more items. a section at the end on the name and item number and how to order each item. My wife enjoyed this viedo more than most because of the information given about the toy. We did not like the music in the background and we could not hear some of the comments because the sound was too low. MOre time needed to be spent on each toy and how it is used.

it's not what you think it is
i thought this dvd would tell more about the toys and provide alot more information. it does not it mostly shows them having sex which does not help making choices on buying toys

A little slow to start.
We found the movie a little slow to start. It would be good for people just starting to experiment with toys.

this is great!
I really enjoyed this DVD mainly because the couples were "real". No fake noises or anything like that. They seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves and the toys. I would like to have seen more toys and more details but I really loved it!

Very informative
Lots of oppourtunity for some hands on play. Nice looking people showing you what to do with several toys. would have been better if it had a little better selection or had been updated some.

EDUCATIONAL!!

It's just ok
I thought there would be more of a variety of toys displayed in this one. Only the most common ones were used, which mostly everyone knows how to use.

Highly Recommended!
My husband and I have been married for 13 years and in an effort to spice up our sex life, I bought this video and surprised my husband on our anniversary. He has been trying to get me to try new things for years but I have always been the cautious one. However, we viewed the DVD together and after watching the couples in action and the pleasure they received from all of the toys and techniques, I am ready to try just about anything! I found this DVD to be very informative and tastefully done. Many thanks to Adam and Eve for giving us the spark we so desperately needed!

Really just OK
I did not really like this that much. I thought there would be more ideas and stuff for the toys and less I would have liked more toys shown and many different things to do with them.

Good video.
This dvd was actually pretty good. I am not into porn, but while watching this with my husband , it was educational, yet enteraining. Not the uncomfortableness which I expected. Great addition to any dvd library. And lots of good info and ideas:o)

Spend a little more time on the toys
I was expecting a little more emphasis on the toys. Instead of a lecture on them, they should have used each different kind and explained them then. The scene at the end though makes it a worthwhile buy.

For New Ideas in the Bedroom---
It is very informative, but you need to be prepared to sit through it. There's alot of information about sex toys, things to make them better and how to make them pleasureable. Personally I enjoyed the information and ideas that were presented and found a new use to some toys I had. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it for those looking for new ideas in the bedroom!!

Neat products but commentary not so great.
Nina's dialogue is somewhat boring and does not add very much to the info value of product. Actors are nice looking, but after the sex starts, info on products is over.

1. Hell it was $4 and getting it for half price on an order $2 can't go wrong now can you? the teaching in terms of toy use was ok but what made it worht it all was her little advice about getting back into sex after a break in the intercourse. Great movie

I bought this video for fun and to show my wife some different ideas on sex toys.There wasn't really much on sex toys, it was mostly just your average porn film. I was hoping they would show more on the use of a wide variety of different toys.

Great for beginners
This would be a great way to start for anyone wanting to introduce toys to their partner. It's clear, straight-forward, couple-based information would help ease any embarrassment a partner may feel when trying toys for the first time. It's not the "seedy" type of porn movie that a lot of women find objectionable. It would be great if they lowered the music just a little so you could hear Nina explain things better, but all in all I would definitely recommend this as a door opener.

Not enough instruction
We got this for $4, so we got what we paid for. It started out great talking about different toys, which we were very anxious to learn and maybe even purchase through Adam & Eve. However, the last half was more about 3 couples having sex than actually demonstrating all of the toys that were shown at the beginning, so I am not sure if it was that helpful. Nina's guide to Anal Sex was much better and helpful.

What a wonderful video to spice your life
This video is really very informative. We do enjoy using the vibrators but had a few questions on some of the other items. This video cleared all of the questions up PLUS some.

disappointing
Was disappointed with this DVD. Expected to learn more about the use of toys, not just watch a flick. DVD moves around too much too fast. Hard to follow for an "instructional" DVD.

Educational and fun
My fiancee and I bought this because it looks interesting and so we could have some more fun with tips from the pros. Since she's very limited on experience with toys this was especially helpful; the Pink Rabbit vibrator we bought at the same time and tried out with it was definitely a winning combo for us both!!! She was a little uncomfortable with the anal scenes, as she is not interested in that, but seeing Nina pulling on nipples left and right (no pun intended) was HUGE turn-on for her since I was doing the same things to her at the same time; she said it helped her feel more like she was in the action onscreen. A lot of fun, and will not be the last we buy of this series.

Very Educational
I originally bought Nina Harley's Guide to Sex Toys because I thought it might give me some ideas about how to spice things up between my girlfriend and I. I was not disappointed. While I haven't gotten to try everything I learned from this DVD, what I have tried has been a great success. My girlfriend was very appreciative of some of the oral sex techniques I picked up from this DVD. The only bad point to the DVD was the sound levels. At some points it was very hard to hear was Nina was saying and I had to rewind and turn up the volume to hear the dialogue. Then immediately turn it down as the sound levels jumped. Minor technical problem. Other than that, the material presented was great. Very sexy and very educational. Why didn't they ever cover this in Sex Ed. in High School? Had I been exposed to this information earlier in life I'm positively certain that many of my relationships would've been much more fullfilling and enjoyable. I'm just glad that I'm not so old that I can't learn some new tricks. I also have Nina Harley's Guide To Threesome: Two Girls and a Boy. So far her "Guide To" series has proved very helpful. If you are interested in learning about anything Nina discusses, I highly recommend them. I wish Nina Hartley had been there to teach me about sex 20 years ago instead of the prudish and overly clinical health teacher who was in charge in my public school!
