I watched the first one but never bought it. I decided to buy this one instead and was disappointed to find that the sex scenes were cut out of the actual movie. The second DVD in the set contains all the sex scenes. I can see why they did it this way with the movie being over 2 hours and the sex scenes close to 3 hours but it would have been nice to have the opinion to watch the full 5 hours long movie with sex scenes (not that my wife and I can make it that long without getting started ourselves).

Not as good as the first Pirates, but my husband and I have it in our small collection and I still enjoy watching it from time to time. If you liked Pirates, this is definitely worth your time.

This sequel does not live up to the first by any means. I don't know why people say they love it. High budget with a script yes; but the sex scenes were expedited lacking content, in other words, there wasn't enough sex. So much opportunity that fell short.

I wasn't expecting it be better then the first Pirates but I was wrong. The sex scenes are a bit shorter in the movie to keep the pacing moving but if you put in the second disc in that short sex scene is now 20 minutes long. My wife gives it two thumbs way up.

I am a woman and I loved the first one so we had to buy the 2nd. And we were not disappointed. Although the sex scenes were a little disjointed at times because they'd switch in and out from position to position, they were not so long that they got boring. There was a lot more chocking, hitting and ass play. If all you're looking for is sex this is not the one for you. But, if you appreciate the effort they put in to plot, special effects, acting, you should enjoy this. The blow job scene at the end with the pirate hunter is pretty impressive. The orgy scene was nicely done as well. Hopefully they'll make a third. This is a fresh take on porn as the first one was. If you enjoy this you'll probably also enjoy Eden.

Overall this would be the closest that any "porn" movie has come to being a mainstream movie in terms of the budget, the production values and the quality. I suppose you could say that it's a movie with sex, not a sex movie.
If you're looking for a movie that is wall-to-wall sex, then this isn't it. It's more like Pirates of the Caribbean if they'd had sex. There are long periods of dialogue followed by shorter sequences of hardcore sex. That's not a bad thing - the movie itself is pretty amusing and enjoyable, and shows that porn actors (mostly anyway) can act, and the sex is hot and explicit; the bodies are beautiful.
Two minor complaints - I usually watch a porn movie for one reason. If I want to watch a pirate movie, I look for Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, not Ethan Stone and Jesse Jane. There is almost TOO much dialogue and the sex scenes aren't long enough in the movie itself. But the bonus discs fix that with plenty of longer scenes and extra scenes.
Second complaint, I'm sure that Pirates had rough, sweaty sex but almost all the scenes involve rough, acrobatic, sweaty sex with lots of swearing, slapping, forceful grasping, and plenty of spitting and anal sex. If you like a gentler, more romantic style of sex then you should definitely look elsewhere.
