This was a great movie with a plot but there are a few cheesy parts it is nice to watch this instead of a regular ol porn

This movie was an arousing movie. I got turned on immediately. I thought all the women we hot, and I am a woman. The ladies turned me on more than the men, and I am a married woman with 2 children. It was kind of drawn out though. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I thought this was a very good movie. It had a story line to it. It wasn't just about people only having sex. It keeps you wanting more. I was real excited watching this film.

Pirates is arguably the biggest adult DVD release of all time. Rumored to have a huge budget, and having the look of, if not a mainstream feature, then at least a mainstream made-for-cable feature, right off the bat you can tell it's vastly different than your run-of-the-mill porn. Other reviews I've read had touted this as one of the most enjoyable adult movies of all time, and as being just as watchable and enjoyable as most mainstream films. While I can't entirely agree with those statements, I can say that, for a porn, it's pretty darn good. The plot--yes, it actually kind of has one--centers around Evan Stone and Jesse Jane as pirate hunters, tracking down the most ruthless pirate on the seas, who as abducted Carmen Luvana's new husband, who holds the key to vast treasure and supernatural power. Unfortunately, that one-sentence synopsis has a bit more depth than the entire movie. For a porn, though, it holds together better than most, doesn't have too many gratuitous sidetracks, and manages to incorporate some decent humor into the mix. It's loaded with special effects that would be sub-par in anything else, but which should be considered spectacular and groundbreaking for a porn. The action ranges from amateurish to laughable, but to be honest, I've seen worse. One area in which this deserves a bit of praise is in the acting. I know, you don't exactly watch a porn for the acting, but as far as porns go, this one was a notch above the rest. Evan Stone, who seems to be one of the better actors in adult films today, turned in an even a better performance than normal. Most of the rest of the cast okay as well in the more lighthearted scenes, but anytime drama or Janine came into the mix, the quality dropped off precipitously. I'd read that the entire cast was required to take some acting lessons before and during the shoot. I can only assume that Janine was exempt from these. The DVD is loaded with extras, including an HD-DVD copy of the film. I'll admit that I haven't watched any of the extras yet, but I'll at least give credit for the obvious wealth of bonus content provided. From a quality standpoint, the movie looks and sounds great. I've yet to see an adult release that looks this good. Bottom line, if you're looking for a solid plot, great acting, and eye-popping special effects, then you shouldn't be in the video stores back room to begin with. But if you're looking for a fun, watchable, couples-oriented adult feature, then this is one of the best out there. While it's no Devil In Miss Jones 3 & 4, it's rather enjoyable, and has a decent replay value. Recommended.

This was my 1st porn I have ever bought and i bought it for my hubby. I watched and absoulty loved it. I didnt think i would like it but the plot was good and the sex was awesome. I really didnt like the candle sceen but other then that it gets a 10. I got so horny i had to jump my husband right then and there. My husband said i was the coolest wife ever and i now tell all my friends about adam and eve.

My husband and I have watched numerous porn movies; from just sex to a movie with some sex. This movie had some great sex scenes, but the lighting was so poor that you could not actually see the action. Most of the scenes went from a dialoge to the middle of a sex act. I enjoy watching the actual penetration, not just the act. The best scenes for both my husband and I were the HOT girl on girl scenes. That made up for the other flaws.

Finally a hot movie with a funny plot for the ladies! It only needs some foreplay to bump it up to 5 stars. Good mix of scenes, nothing too kinky except a new use for taper candles...

It was sexy and entertaining. I thought the special effects and costumes added interest to the story line (yes, there actually was one!) The sex was hot too!

Good plot, some definite sexy scenes, girls on girls, 2 girls on 1 guy..., Hot men, not like the men of the 80's porn, for couples only!

After all the rave reviews I bought this DVD expecting a porn with a great story line, these actors were beyond cheesy and the movie dragged. The sex scenes were even cheesy but at least the actors and actresses were very attractive.
