Anonymous User on 1/28/2012 The Private Gladiator DVD I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it. The high budget description and the set descriptions were not quite accurate. To me it is a low budget, dubbed over/not in sync voices are too distracting. No story line, no plot, no history other than using names. Sex is same o same o. Save your $25 Was this comment helpful? Anonymous on 7/21/2004 It's good, but don't expect Hollywood Plenty of grade A beauties, but the action and "storyline" isn't what I expected it to be. It contains dubbed over voices and reminds me of a cheap french film. However, I got confused because some of the sex scenes were in English. Not that it matters too much, but I was expecting a little more considering they spent "millions" on it. Maybe a million pesos, heh. All in all, it's good for a porn movie. Anonymous on 2/19/2004 A Hollywood-Like Production Worth The Effort If you want hot girls AND hot guys, then Gladiator is your movie! If this big budget film wasn't good, then Private wouldn't have made Gladiator Two and Three. It's like a history lesson with really hot sex. The sets are amazing. I would say the same for the costumes, but really, the clothes come off and who notices? Adamo directs another movie that is so flawless it should be in theaters (although I wouldn't want to be caught touching myself while watching it).
